Securing MS Windows XP SP2 (advanced)
This will remove Windows Networking Structure. Disabling the windows network structure will not hinder use of normal tcp, udp, icmp packets online. Also including cosmetic fixes, resource reduction, and other misc. bits of information. "Services" that will not work include Active Directory and LDAP features and Mapped Network Drives. This is NOT recommended for large centrally managed office systems. There may be some notes on turning off the software firewall, with the current version of the xp firewall this is not recommended, though turning off user interaction is!. The user interaction with the firewalls confuse me and should definetly confuse the average user.
